Coconut Oil scented with Natural Gardenia Flowers

Monoi is an exquisite and exotic scented moisturizing oil, which has been used by the Vahines (beautiful Tahitian women) for natural hair and skin care for many years. Monoi is created by gently soaking hand picked Tiare flowers (Gardenia) into rich virgin coconut oil and therefore has a Gardenia scent (not coconut).
Application & Uses:
Rub the desired amount into your palms or fingertips until the oil liquefies. Apply to the skin or hair.
Body Moisturiser – natural and preservative free – a light texture that is easily and quickly absorbed into the skin leaving a smooth, satin sheen

Helps to reduce chronic skin inflammation
Helps to keep the skin from developing liver spots, and other blemishes caused by aging and over exposure to sunlight.
It helps to keep connective tissues strong and supple
The oil is absorbed into the skin and into the cell structure of the connective tissues, limiting the damage excessive sun exposure can cause
Aids in healing and repairing damaged skin
The coconut oil will aid in removing the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother.
The skin will become more evenly textured with a healthy shine
Softens the hair and conditions dry, itchy and flaky scalps.
Using Monoi as a pre-shampoo or warm oil treatment can reduce dandruff and soothe dry/itchy scalps. It can also be used to seal in moisturisers used for black/afro hair care.
**Monoi de Tahiti is solid at 18c but becomes liquid at 22c, so take care in warm weather and at all times, store in a cool, dry and dark place. During hot weather, it can be safely stored in the fridge.
**If you wish to warm the oil, scoop the required amount out of the pot and place in a small dish and place over a pan of simmering water until it melts. Don't heat directly in a pan on the stove.
**As Monoi is solid (at least in the UK climate) and contains no water, it can be carried through Airport Security in a normal hand luggage bag and is not classed as a liquid, cream or gel.
