Consult, Plan and Prepare – Consultations and contraindications
You must successfully pass your written assessment before you do the practical day.
Practical - instructions on how to blend, suggestions for making products for a wide range of treatments (massage, body wraps, pedicure, manicure, facials), hands on practical: massage oil, inhalation method, compress method, linen/room spray, clay mask.
You must complete 18 case studies after your practical day.
Please note - this is a stand alone course which will teach you about Aromatherapy and how to blend aromatherapy products and doesn't include any actual treatment training.
In order to use aromatherapy in your practice, you will need to be qualified in the treatment that you intend to use it for e.g. massage, facials, manicure, pedicure, body wraps etc. If you would like to learn Aromatherapy and Full Body Massage, you will need to complete this course, an anatomy and physiology course and a Massage course.
