Microdermabrasion Radiance (Electrical Facial)

A microdermabrasion facial is a non-invasive, deep exfoliation treatment that uses diamond-tipped wands combined with suction to remove the top layer of dead skin cells. It boosts collagen, unclogs pores, and improves skin texture, resulting in a smoother, brighter complexion. It is suitable for treating acne, fine lines, and dull skin.

The procedure is non invasive and painless, similar to the feeling of exfoliation with products but a little more intense. After the treatment, some people experience skin redness and a little irritation due to the deep exfoliation process.

Microdermabrasion

In "normal" skin, we have around 30% dead skin and 70% living skin cells but certain factors change this ratio, which leads the skin to look dull and lifeless. For example photo aged skin (sun damaged) will have around 70% dead skin cells and 30% living cells and Chrono Aged skin (damaged by factors such as poor diet, alcohol consumption, smoking, stress, pollution etc) will have around 50% dead skin and 50% living cells. In addition to this, as we age it takes longer for our body to produce new skin cells. In younger skin (up to the age of around 25) it takes around 28 days for the skin cells to be renewed and in older skin it can take 3-4 months.

Microdermabasion helps to remove the dead skin cells and stimulates the production of new ones. It will also help to enhance the absorption of the active ingredients in Skin Care products for up to 3 days after a treatment. Other benefits include: relaxation of the muscle fibres, purification of the skin and an increase in lymph and blood circulation.
